Fabric Swap

If you are anything like the craft supply hoarder I am, then you have piles of beautiful fabric that may or may not ever go into some amazing project. If you'd like to give away some old fabric, and get some new in return, check out the fabric swap in progress at The Patchwork Chronicles. I know I'm in! This charm pack is fabrics in Kate Spain's new line, "Central Park." There are four different color schemes, each trying to showcase a different season. I am in love with the purple!

Friday Favorite- Blowfish Shoes

About a month ago, my search began for a new pair of black flats for church. Sounds easy enough, right? Well... my already wide feet have become even more like fat little sausages since having precious E., and I did not have any luck finding a pair that possessed both comfort and pizazz. I started looking online and found Blowfish Shoes. They have adorable flats, wedges, and boots for a super reasonable price. Plus, they almost always have discount codes out. I bought the Stella flats (pictured left) and they are beautiful and so comfy! I'll definitely get another pair soon, and already have my eye on these fun Nice flats. Love the pink! Check them out!

Meal Monday-- Chicken Pillows

I entered these Chicken Pillows in a recipe contest, then started feeling hungry, then decided to share the goodness with you! This yummy and easy recipe is one of our favorites. I usually make a big batch, and stick some in the freezer for easy lunches or snacks. And, who doesn't love creamy chicken with a flaky crust?
You'll need:
2 cups cooked chicken, cubed (I just put it in the crockpot for a few hours)
1 8 oz package of cream cheese
2 T milk
1 t dried onion
1/2 t garlic powder
1/2 t salt
pepper to taste
2 packages round refrigerated biscuits
3/4 cup crushed cornflakes
Mix chicken, cream cheese, milk, onion, and spices together until creamy. Flatten biscuits with rolling pin and drop rounded tablespoons of chicken mixture onto each biscuit. Bring opposite sides of biscuit up and pinch together. Sprinkle tops with crushed cornflakes. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown. Serve with salad, asparagas, corn... whatever!

**Sorry there is no picture! You'll just have to make them yourself and taste the amazingness!

Notice anything different?

I'm so excited I could squeal! My little blog got a total re-vamp from the awesome and talented Kendra of Key Lime Digital Designs. Don't you love it?! Kendra was more than patient with my indecisiveness and has a great eye for putting things together. She is inexpensive and great to work with. If you are looking for a change, let her know, and she'll work wonders on your blog. Hopefully this will give me a little more drive to write regularly and do even more on here.

Also, with Christmas over, I am officially decorating and planning for my favorite holiday-- Valentine's Day! Start showing your love and appreciation early with these free love notes from vol.25, and check out all of her beautiful work while you're at it.
** I'm in the middle of creating lots of new stuff for my etsy shop, so get ready for another giveaway coming soon!
