I entered these Chicken Pillows in a recipe contest, then started feeling hungry, then decided to share the goodness with you! This yummy and easy recipe is one of our favorites. I usually make a big batch, and stick some in the freezer for easy lunches or snacks. And, who doesn't love creamy chicken with a flaky crust?
You'll need:
2 cups cooked chicken, cubed (I just put it in the crockpot for a few hours)
1 8 oz package of cream cheese
2 T milk
1 t dried onion
1/2 t garlic powder
1/2 t salt
pepper to taste
2 packages round refrigerated biscuits
3/4 cup crushed cornflakes
Mix chicken, cream cheese, milk, onion, and spices together until creamy. Flatten biscuits with rolling pin and drop rounded tablespoons of chicken mixture onto each biscuit. Bring opposite sides of biscuit up and pinch together. Sprinkle tops with crushed cornflakes. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown. Serve with salad, asparagas, corn... whatever!
**Sorry there is no picture! You'll just have to make them yourself and taste the amazingness!

Notice anything different?
I'm so excited I could squeal! My little blog got a total re-vamp from the awesome and talented Kendra of Key Lime Digital Designs. Don't you love it?! Kendra was more than patient with my indecisiveness and has a great eye for putting things together. She is inexpensive and great to work with. If you are looking for a change, let her know, and she'll work wonders on your blog. Hopefully this will give me a little more drive to write regularly and do even more on here.
Also, with Christmas over, I am officially decorating and planning for my favorite holiday-- Valentine's Day! Start showing your love and appreciation early with these free love notes from vol.25, and check out all of her beautiful work while you're at it. ** I'm in the middle of creating lots of new stuff for my etsy shop, so get ready for another giveaway coming soon!

My festive table...
I'm so proud of my fun little Christmas table. Bright colors and sparkles just make me so happy! Let me tell you about all of the fabulous components:
* Various glass jars -all .50 or 1.00 at D.I.
* Fillers- fabric, ornaments bought on clearance from Target last year, candy. The dollar store has tons of cute things to use as fillers
* Joy sign- I think I bought it a Smiths 2 years ago, but you can find them all over. Ben Franklin has a super cute sparkly "Merry Christmas" sign
* Mini clock- gift
* Table runner-- I made it with Moda 12 Days of Christmas fabric. It was so easy-- I just cut strips of different widths out of 6 different fabrics, sewed them together, and added two borders.
Love it! I'm thankful that a little color and fun can add so much cheer to our home.
Friday Favorite: Stampin' Up Necklace
Ok friends... you are totally gonna LOVE this!
A few weeks ago, I saw a stampin' up booth at a local boutique, and I was pleasantly surprized! I remember the old 90's-style stamping I did with my mom when I was little, but this company has completely re-vamped its style and products. They are ADORABLE! I know it's hard to think past Christmas, but isn't this letterpress card beautiful?! Check out Stampin' Up!

One thing I absolutely LOVED was this cute little soldered necklace. I know we've all seen these before, but this one is so much better! Besides being high quality, the metal charm swings open so you can switch out the picture. Just imagine the possibilities! It comes with 9 handstamped cards, or you could put in your favorite photo, a cute sticker or piece of scrapbooking paper. You can also get a card with your initial stamped on it. The charm is double-sided, with a smooth side and a beveled side for double the fun!
Heather, the demonstrator I met, is selling this beauty, for just $20! You also get a thick, cute chain to hang the charm on, and it'll come gift-wrapped.
